Launch PPAP in our Sourcing Department

Lawrence  -  02:46 PM In these weeks, we started to launch Production Part Approval Process(PPAP) in our Sourcing Department. The PPAP process is designed to demonstrate that the component supplier has developed their design and production process to meet the client's requirements, minimising the risk of failure by effective use of APQP. The result of this process is a series of documents gathered in one specific location (a binder or electronically) called the "PPAP Package". Our suppliers are requested to processes PPAP if necessary. They need to summit "PPAP Package" and the result must be higher than 1.67. This help us to minimising the risk of failure and meet the client's requirements.  Wednesday October 12th, 2011  -  , , ,  -  No Comments
